Smooth operation at the start of the day. Our guide, Lidia was a beatiful soul. Caring, loving and a knowledgable woman, that was very passionate at her job.
It was very fun and well organized the guide met us at the correct place and time and was very interactive i had fun learning about greeces rich history the people alongside me and my daughter on the tour were very kind the monuments were breathtaking and overall i had a great time
Helena was an awesome tour guide! She is very knowledgeable and you can tell she enjoys sharing all of her wisdom on Greek Mythology and History! She was intentional with the route and took breaks in the shade as much as possible. It was a great experience. Thank you!!
I loved how knowledgeable the staff were and giving us facts I probably wouldn't have known without. While driving to destinations they gave us facts around Athens as well. Along with the bus driver they kept us on schedule and made sure everyone was always accounted for. I did the earliest trip and it was still a little crowded but that is to be expected. We also had some time to wander around alone and take pictures. I liked having the option of including entry and skipping that long line.
The best of the whole tour was the guide. Passionate and very prepared, he narrated everything in a clear, simple and attractive way. He was unhurried. He was leading the group naturally, he kept in mind the rhythm of each person making us enjoy almost without perceiving the "stress that surrounded us" by an acropolis full of tourists. Despite the amount of people around us, we as a group, because of how the guide was explaining and leading the story, we never felt the crowd. Excellent experience. I recommend it.
Guide was knowledgeable and had good pacing up the hill. Took breaks after more difficult sections and found shade to share info.
This was one of the best tours I've ever experienced. Our guide was so knowledgeable and helpful! She explained everything so well but did not over explain. Loved the historical aspects and so happy we did this tour!
The guide was very descriptive, nice and clear. Only as emoresa, when one buys the ticket should communicate to be sure of the meeting point, it is not clear that one must go somewhere other than the first official entrance to the Acropolis.
Tour guide was awesome. Knowledgeable and fun! We were lucky to have great weather and a very nice group of fellow travelers! I love the whisper devices- perfect for crowded/ noisy areas to keep you connected Yes, definitely crowded, yet everyone was kind and happy to be there!
Seeing the Parthenon in person is absolutely amazing. However the "trek" to the top is not for the faint and kind hearted. It is strenuous tonsay the least. But well worth the trek. The museum is also fantastic. As all museums are. Our tour guide was amazing. She trekked up there like it was just a walk in the park.
Ermies was one of (if not the absolute) best tour guide we've ever had! He was beyond knowledgeable about every aspect of the tour (and then some). It was an extremely hot day, so he took care to make sure we had plenty of time to rest in the shade. He was also very considerate of the other tour groups around us. He made this experience 1000x better than we expected!
I was great getting a local Athen view of Acropolis with entry tickets. Wear good comfortable shoes because the footing is uneven and can be slippery. The Acropolis with the museum is a long day and by the time we got to the museum, our group only had stamina for an hour in the museum.
Great tour guide, Kosta. Awesome info, really felt his passion for the history and culture. I'd love more tours with him if I could! 100% recommend for anyone going. Would've been 10% of the experience without him.
The Guide was a man with deep knowledge and good English communication skills. The experience really enriched US .
Nice steady pace despite crowded and hit conditions. Guide was very good.
We had the best tour guide, he was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience very pleasant.
How well detailed the excursion is. It is well worth it.
Tour guide gave excellent information.
Everything punctual, friendly and taken care of
Learned about Greek history and I loved it!
Visited in August and it wasn't that crowded and the weather helped to enjoy the experience. The tourist guide was fantastic; explained all in detail, and her English was very clear. The tourist guide started on time. Really enjoy it
Great visit with a passionate and fascinating guide! She took the time to explain everything and to interest young and old alike.
We visited exciting places to say the least that gave us goosebumps. Very good our guide Ioannis, very kind and very knowledgeable! Bravi
Our guide, Maria, was incredibly knowledgeable and shared a wealth of information. She navigated the crowds expertly. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Everything was very well organized from the beginning: meeting point indications, group and guide assignment, entrance to the Acropolis. The guide was very good, giving interesting information and taking us at a pace that made the experience very enjoyable.

As someone deeply passionate about Ancient Greek history and mythology, visiting the Acropolis was nothing short of a pilgrimage. Arriving in the early evening offered a perfect balance: the golden light cast a soft, almost divine glow across the Parthenon and surrounding ruins, bringing the myths I’ve long studied vividly to life. The crowds were definitely present — a testament to the site’s global significance — but they didn’t feel overwhelming. There was enough space to pause, reflect, and even hear your own thoughts as you gazed over Athens, imagining the philosophers, poets, and gods who once filled these same hills with ideas and legends. Whether you’re a devoted classicist or just curious about Greece’s ancient heart, I can’t recommend the early evening slot enough. The light, the breeze, the energy — it all makes the Acropolis feel not like a ruin, but a living piece of history.
It was quick and extremely easy to book. Receiving the tickets immediately in the app. This allowed us to join the short queue at the allocated time.
All went super. The ticket app worked perfectly. I was worried when a review said it was a scam. No idea what they did but all was absolutely fine
Pre-booking the tickets saved us a great deal of team was very easy to book it with headout. We decided to an afternoon trip to see the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum, we didn't have to wait long to get in which was fantastic. Plenty of seats to rest as you go up, definitely have comfortable shoes, water and take your time going up as there is plenty to see. When you get to the top although there was a bit of a crowd most people were respectful and actually helped each other including taking photos for each other. Amazing view of the city. The museum is amazing again well curated. The roof top café in the the museum was amazing you a wonderful view of Acropolis and it's reasonable priced.
Sotiris was an amazing tour guide. He was very kind, fun and knowledgeable and Georgios (spelling?) was an excellent driver. Poseidon's Temple was a vey cool site with amazing views. Definitely recommend!
An amazing experience taking you back in time. The remains are exquisite and the views outstanding. An early visit is advisable to avoid the crowds and the heat in Summer.
Our tour guide was sooooo friendly and helpful. We had a prompt and smooth pick up from Old Parlliament and a smooth ride with audio out of Athens to Cape Sounion Attica region. The sunset was beautiful and we got back to Athens after 5 hours in a timely fashion. The tickets into the Temple of Parthenon cost 20euros extra
Just being able to see and touch a part of history was awesome. It was very crowded but because we bought tickets for the 8 AM entry we were able to see everything before the temperatures got too hot. It was a long walk but worth it.
4pm slot, not too busy. However it was very hot during this time, so keep this in mind. The sights and the history were amazing.
Visiting the Acropolis in Athens was an incredible experience—truly awe-inspiring to walk among such ancient history and iconic architecture. Standing at the top, surrounded by the remnants of the Parthenon, I felt a deep sense of wonder and connection to the past. What surprised me, though, was how crowded it was. I didn’t expect that many tourists! It was definitely more packed than I imagined, which made the experience a bit hectic at times. Still, despite the crowds, being there and seeing it all in person was absolutely worth it.
We were lucky to have 8 am tickets, since it was a 95 degree day! The site was incredible. Our tour guide pointed out many intricacies about the buildings, why they were designed the way they were, and the history of the site. It was one of the most spectacular places we've visited.
First to have had the opportunity to be in Athens, to look, contemplate, live and think what life was like inside those impressive ruins. Beautiful, peaceful and amazing.
Wonderful experience. I took the latest slot. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and funny. Wish it wasn't under construction but its a great reason to go back again one day when it is not. The views were great, the crowds moved quickly and I didn't feel there was a lot of wait time anywhere. Great team that keeps this place running!
Booking tickets in adcance was very worth it. I was on a cruise and got into Athens centre at about 9.30. By tbe time we had walked up the hill to the ticket office they were selling tickets for the 1pm entry as all earlier tickets had sold out.
We went right in the morning at 8, and got in line about 7:30 to ensure we'd be there before major crowds and the sun, and super glad we did! We spent about an hour and enjoyed looking at all the ruins.
We purchased tickets in advance online and arrived shortly before our scheduled entry time. We waited for a short time to be allowed to enter (maybe 10 minutes). It was somewhat crowded at 5 pm, but the crowds were easy to navigate with and through. It did not affect our enjoyment. The site is amazing to see in person! You can see te entire city. Of Athens and surrounding areas out to the sea. We visited in mid June and it gets SUPER hot so prehydrate and everyone take water. There are spots you can sit and take rest breaks in a bit of shade.
Everything except the Sun and heat but we were aware of that and ready for it. Getting around was pretty easy and the temples are great, magnificent and the marble looks smazing in the sun.
As a history lover , I was able to immerse myself in what the Acropolis once was. I didn't get the audio guide , perhaps I should have however , there's information everywhere with pictures and fragments to give you the great historical experience . Views of the city also amazing !
Meravigliosa esperienza. Tutto perfetto consiglio scarpe comode cappello e protezione solare. Il sito è conservato benissimo Audio guida in italiano molto utile e dettagliata per la città vecchia ricca di monumenti, chiese e edifici storici
The Acropolis itself is spectacular, it is a millenary place and incredible! It would be very useful the audio guide to learn and understand where you are and what is what but it was good the tickets with no line and no problem to redeem them. The tourist bus is good for people who dedicate the time we had no problem using it but we did not have time so next time I do not buy it because I did not use it. To improve the location of the stops in piraeus and glyfada, we could never find them.
Amazing experience. Very little information or support re queueing on arrival but once we had sussed it out all went well.
Good atmosphere, from the audience. It would be nice if there were a few more information boards. The kiosk wanted €7.50 for a pack of pringels which is extortionate. The general prices were very high, but this exceeded that.
The package is worth it, especially because it includes the entrance to the Acropolis and watching the sunset at the temple of Poseidon is beautiful. What I think is confusing is the beginning of the tour. We waited at the appointed place 15 minutes before our time and no one showed up. Then we went to exchange tickets and entered the Acropolis but we missed the first part of the tour.
The electron tickets were very easy to use. Great communication. The Acropolis was a great day out and getting round Athens on the open top bus made it easy to go everywhere. We went around the city and down the coast.
Crow de were very busy and slow at 9am, hear at that point was extremely hot. Doesn't seem to be any real procedure in place to deal with the crowds.
Two iconic Greek sites, one great price—explore ruins by day and watch a legendary sunset by night.

The iconic location itself , combined with the clear blue sky and Attica view made the day memorable. The museum was lovely. The crowds, heat and sometimes lacklustre commentary means I would not repeat the the experience.
The best guided tour EVER! Our tour guide was Victor, and besides his vast knowledge on all things Acropolis and Greek history in general, he also has a great sense of humor and truly understands his work.
We visited in June and had an incredible experience at the Acropolis and Museum. The weather was perfect, the crowds were manageable and obviously the site was awe-inspiring. Our guide Elizabeth was fantastic. She is an archeologist with a special interest in architecture. Her knowledge of the Acropolis and history enhanced the tour. She loved questions...and we asked tons. She was able to engage both the teens and my elderly parents. She stealthily guided us to the top of the Acropolis which my 80 year old parents did not think they could do! She was the BEST. Thanks!
Our guide was charming - without her we wouldn't understand even a quarter of what our eyes see. The excavation area under the museum also adds a lot and really takes you back 2000 years to see and feel the period and what was there. The archaeological findings are simply amazing. Especially in a cluster of archaeological and historical sites like this, I really recommend others take a guided tour - it's simply a different experience that's much better than traveling alone without guidance.
It was an amazing experience. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and very patient. The views are spectacular and the museum is beautiful. All in all well worth the money and a must do experience. Thank you me and my daughter had a fabulous day
Fantastic and informative guide. Amazing site and so much history.
Fantastic guide. I learnt so much.
It was a focused tour guide with explanations and the history behind everything. I loved it. Both the Acropolis and Museum are so massive so as a tourist, you need a tour guide else you'd be overwhelmed. Hence, I would highly recommend this service and I'm rating them a 5 star. Our tour guide YOLANDA was amazing 👏
It was a great experience to see all the historical pieces so close. Our guide was also very kind and gave great explanations. I would return and have him as the same guide.
In spite of a horrible experience with Headout and missing the guided tour I paid for because of them, the rest went smoothly. The crowds were expected. I must say the tour groups were all very polite and efficiently handled by their tour guides. Everything on the grounds were marked/labeled and explained very well. The museum was beautiful. Laid out very well and in a way the amount of people in there didn't matter! Again, every exhibit was labeled and explained beautifully.
Our guide, Victor, did an amazing job of making everything so real to us. He definitely knows his history, and he shared his knowledge with us in both the tour of the Acropolis and the museum.
the tour was fine. the guide spent far too much time focusing on minute details that slowed the tour down. Also, too crowded but that is not your fault
Maria, out tour guide did a great job of mixing ancient and more current history. Lots of interesting information but spread over time. Also frequent stops to share info while at the same time finding shady spots to help ease things on a very sunny and hot day.
The whole experience was amazing. Our awesome tour guide, Artemis made it feels like we were living in history. Very knowledgeable and so passionate about history. An experience the we will never forget.
Highly recommend this activity. Joanne was an outstanding tour guide. Her great humour, passion for Athens and all things Greek, as well as her history and archeology degree certainly made for a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you Joanne!
The tour was a very nice intro to the Acropolis and the guide was very knowledgeable. It was an extremely hot day and the guide was accommodating the group with lots of breaks in the shade on the long climb up. Lots of info on all the temples and other sites along the way .
Our tour guide Elena was so energetic and knowledgeable. All the detail she provided was like a story and all connected together. She did a great job and made it a memorable experience
Our tour guide was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable and had so many interesting facts and great context to add around the Acropolis and when we went into the museum. We went at 9am and it was very, very crowded and busy. It was also 40C+ outside so bring lots of water! Our guide was great at finding us shade in the heat to let us cool down as he told us more stories and history about the Acropolis!
Very busy excursion I would always suggest to try & go 1st thing in the morning as it was very hot even at 9am & there is only so many olive trees to shade under. Our Tour guide sensibly took us up in stages stopping under shade whilst he explained the monuments along the way. Once we reached the top there were numerous groups & vast amount of people so waiting to enter is normal. We were given 15/20 mins of free time for photos & mooching about. After the Acropolis we visited the museum which had lovely air-conditioning offering a cool relief after a hot morning. The only negative would be some confusion on where to meet back up to go onto the museum. Even though not sure we headed out & went to the exit, luckily stumbling upon our guide there. Some of the group got lost & ended up finding the museum themselfs & luckily meeting us there at the entrance. Id suggest before heading into the top entrance maybe pointing out the main gate exit so everyone is clear.
Our guide was very knowledgeable, which I expected he would be (I believe it was Dionesius?), but also had a great demeanor, looked out for everyone's safety (it was very hot out so he found us shade) and very patient. Definitely felt like ge was on our timeline and not gis. Gave us plenty of time to explore on our own.
Our guide , Julia was very well spoken and knowledgeable. She was pleasant and professional and made sure that she engaged each member of our group. Since it was a scorching hot day, we started in the museum and then climbed to the Acropolis and Parthenon when the temperatures were a bit cooler. She provided us with excellent, detailed information in the shade whenever possible. This was an excellent tour. The only constructive feedback that I would hibve wiyld be directed at the office staff/environment. The welcoming email that we received to confirm our booking was very friendly and upbeat. However, when we arrived at the office, it was very clear that the office staff did not want us in the air conditioned building and that we needed to wait outside in the heat until the time of our tour. There was no communication to invite us in to get our tickets and headsets. Very unwelcoming- perhaps because they wanted to keep the office area cool?? The tour itself and Julia, our tour guide, were excellent!!
An amazing guided tour of the Acropolis and Museum. Guide was fantastic- knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was hot and very crowded, but our guide worked hard to get us to shady spots to hear the stories she had to tell. Awesome.
Our guide was knowledgable, engaging, and able to convey information well. She was even kind enough to recommend a place to eat in the Plaka that had great views and fantastic food. I felt that the high point was to see how things have changed since 1978. The Acropolis is easier to walk around as so much has been reconstructed or moved. The museum allows patrons to see finds and to appreciate the way the Parthenon was constructed.
It was an awesome experience!!! And all thanks to our tour guide,John The Archeologist! He was so engaging, enthusiastic and so passionate in sharing his knowledge towards us! I can really tell that he really loves his job!
The guided tour was very well organized. Our guide Elisavet was very knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. We have learned so much in the few hours tour of the Acropolis and the Museum. We are highly recommending the guided tour. She knew exactely where to stop and always did a headcount to make sure everyone was there. Amazing experience!

I liked the service provided by the tour guide, the drivers and the company as a whole. Eva was so kind, considerate , and hospitable. She made sure everyone's needs were met. She answered all our questions with kindness. The tour itself was worth the long bus ride, the views from the bus were breathtaking. Meteora now holds a special place in our hearts. Its beauty and history is something to behold and remembered.
Was a really great experience!!
It was a beautiful day with lovely vieuws. It was more beautiful then i expected. Definitly worth it! The food, people, monks, busdrive, monestry. I enjoyed it all!
I really liked the whole trip. The team of our tour leader and the drivers was amazing. They were all really helpful and explained everything as good as they could. I now know a lot about Meteora because Eva (the tour guide) was so great.
A very good experience. Although the trip is quite long, it is worth it. Maria, the tour guide who accompanied us, EXCELLENT! Attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable. Her explanations were great. The tipi buffet lunch was also very good, in a very nice local restaurant.
I joined a Meteora tour with Riki, and it was one of the highlights of my trip. The guide’s knowledge of the monasteries, local history, and the rock formations made the entire journey fascinating. The pacing was comfortable, with enough time to enjoy the views and take photos without feeling rushed. What really stood out was the passion for the area—it made every stop feel meaningful rather than just a photo opportunity. Overall, it was a well-organized, engaging, and memorable experience that I’d recommend to anyone visiting Meteora.
The visit itself was very good. The setting is spectacular, and the monasteries very interesting. What detracts from the visit is: 1. The food was very improvable 2. The minibus in which we moved around the monasteries was old and, although comfortable, the a/c was not cool enough. 3. The guide did not explain much and showed a certain apathy.
The organisation of the visit to the Meteora monasteries was impeccable, from the pickup in front of the Larisa metro station to the end. The guide (I apologise for not remembering his name) was particularly well-informed; he answered all the participants' questions competently. The three monasteries visited were well chosen, impressive in their positions, perched on the rocks of Meteora and in terms of the treasures of Orthodox art. The lunch, although frugal, was sufficient.
It was amazing and well taken care of from start to finish. Clement gave us all the information about the monasteries in a deeply engaging and fun way, there was never a dull moment. Loved the experience!
Eva was a great guide! She showed us the best places, explained everything with great knowledge. The day of many wonders. Thank you for this exceptional professional trip! 🤩🗺️✨ #Guide #Places #Knowledge #Wonders #Trip
The guide was very good! The food is not what they offered, there was never a bottle of water or slave!!! The audio guide had no information in advance that it was to download, the wifi was not working well in the bus so it was very difficult to download the audio guide. That is not what they promised. I would not recommend it.
The organization is top-notch. The guide and drivers are very professional. Everything is done to make the day go smoothly. We recommend this tour.
The guide Maria is an excellent person, the stop at the restaurant cafe ". Camino" was great, as well as the pizza for dinner. In Meteora the food in "Eufrosino" super rich and The Monasteries are great, a tour that is a must when traveling to Greece.
A slightly long excursion but well worth it to see the mountains and the monasteries of Meteora. Impressive!
Our guide Eva was really good, she answered every question we had and was particularly benevolent. Leonidas the driver of the bus was really nice too ! The landscapes were breath-taking, and the monasteries were very interesting. The only thing that bothered us during our trip was from the app, because we saw pictures of a minivan and thought we were going to be in a group of 5/6 people. We were in fact on a bus, but as it was half-full, we could sit whenever we wanted and could switch sides to see the view.
The tour was awesome! The drivers are very good given that Athens traffic is not for the faint of heart. Meteora guide was very nice and knowledgable. 10/10
Wonderful tour with informative explanations on Meteora and the monasteries. Our guide, Maria from Meteora Thrones was amazing!! So professional and kind. 100% recommend!
The excursion to Meteora was really worth it: the scenery is breathtaking and the perched monasteries are just incredible 😍 On the other hand, I'd like to comment on the organization... The bus journey is already very long, but on top of that, our bus broke down on the way 😬 We waited almost an hour for another one to come and pick us up, without any apology or explanation. Luckily, the place was worth it, because it was really magical once we got there ✨
The magnificent views and informative guide made it a wonderful experience.
The comfort of the bus, the kindness of the driver and our guide Vassilis, the pace of the day, everything was great!
The team's work has been excellent, thanks to all of you.
Good tour, thanks to our guide Yiannis
Everything: the view, history, and arrangements
Astonishing views! Highly recommended. Quite some travel from Athens but worth it.

The price is fine. The bad reviews, we had a stomach ache to book it online. but everything was totally uncomplicated and worked without any problems. Perhaps the departure times could be combined a little better with the other lines. Unfortunately the last trip wasn't clear for us and so we had a little problem at the end of the day. We would like to emphasize that the staff was super friendly and helpful. We would have liked a little more information about the headphones, they are a bit thin and could be expanded. You can approach everything with the normal metro, but it was much more relaxed.
Was nice, come early because I have ticket at 8 am and was here 30 min before, there was a line already. The people at the gate was helpful, nice views amazing and historic place
The different circuits gave a grant variety but a later bus will be even great!
It was a really good way to see the city quickly as we only had one half day in Athens before returning home. One bus had no functioning radio, or at least it wasn't on while we were on. Otherwise, it was very good! So impressive to see this beautiful city and learn a tad about its history!
What I liked was the tour, you can appreciate the main tourist sites of Atena. I did not like that the driver stopped when it was his turn to rest and instead of having a substitute we had to wait for another bus, which took time from our tour. This is an organizational problem and should be transparent to the client. There are no clear indications for the audio guides, you have to guess the languages and as it is only when they speak you miss explanations or have to go around again. Finally they tell you that the tour is for two days, but in the tycket it appears only for one day and at the end of the explanation in the audio guide says "remember that it is valid only for one day".
Nice way to see Athens. Wish there was more commentary offered through the headsets. The bus stops at all the major sites and even got us to the port for our cruise which was appreciated. Very sunny up top but view is best there so you have to make choices every time you hop on. Overall would recommend.
It was easy to take the bus and we liked the tour, we were lucky in Monastiraki, we could get on and go seated, the bus had a roof which saved our lives because of the sun, but in the most popular destinations such as the Acropolis or the museum there was a lot of chaos due to the demand of people. The audio guide didn't work, but we didn't give it much thought, we hired it to have a panoramic view of the city and it was fine. Unfortunately we did not have time to go to the coast.
The booking process was simple. The bus was at the cruise terminal when we arrived, as were ticket sellers. We got off at the acropolis, intending to get on the next route but it was so hot that day, we just went for a cold drink and caught the next bus back. Can't fault the service though.
This was a good way to get around Athens to the more popular sights without having to walk all the time. The only downside is that the narration by the recording is so hard to hear with the earphone provided that the driver's voice when he is on his phone easily obscures the sightseeing information. But the bus was airconditioned and roomy and clean. Use this more for transportation instead of touring.
A good opportunity for sightseeing in and around Athens without necessarily having to use public transportation or cabs. The city tour touches the most characteristic points of Athens, that of Piraeus and coast give the opportunity to get away and see different things. I recommend it
Nice tour, could still be a little more touristy.
Nice trip to the around Athen
You should have a guide in acropolis
Close to the hotel, regular timetables and very practical, all tourist bus stops in the same place.
The Acropolis was amazing what we found difficlut was finding the bus stop for the HOHO bus is Paralamini
Very efficient and well d3signed and layer out
Easy to travel around and visit places of I terest
The audio guide was difficult to understand. Very bad audio system

Great excursion, with the guide Geoge, who was super friendly and gave great information about the excursion. The entrance to the temple is worth it, you can explore a lot and take lots of beautiful pictures. The stay of over 2 hours is perfectly adequate. The bus transfer is very pleasant.
My expectations were met and history at the site is very interesting. The guide at the tour had a lot of history knowledge (that I experienced in a conversation on the bus)...so I guess a lot of your other tours he can share more of his knowledge than on this sunset tour 😊).
Very well-planned trip with a kind and interesting tour guide. The ride down was beautiful and the Temple of Poseidon was terrific. We stayed until just after sunset which was perfect!
The ride was through a breathtaking picturesque beachfront road once we got outside of Athens metropolitan area, which came as a pleasant surprise! The tour guide 'Thanos' was very friendly and helpful who explained stories from Greek mythology and made the trip memorable!
Very interesting information and the guide was educational! The views were spectacular and so beautiful...the temple itself is breathtaking and so is the sunset. Definitely recommend!
Amazing tour guide and well organized!
The experience was wonderful. The downside was that we paid for a guided tour and the guide only explained a couple of things on the bus on the way to Cape Sounion. He gave us an audio guide on the bus that explained things about Athens and the sites we passed through before arriving at the cape. This audio guide in Spanish (in our case) spoke very poorly and was difficult to understand. The problem is that we paid for the guide to give us a tour of the cape and when we got off the bus the guide explained that he would wait for us on the bus until the sunset was over (20:20) and from there we would have 10 minutes to return to the bus.
The bus drive was very comfortable. Our guide Sotiris was very helpful and was always available for questions. The trip has been organized very well! The pick up station was easy to find. The sunset was very beautiful!
The views were great, smooth drive there and no issues once there. However pick up point wasn't clear - went to the office that morning to confirm - the information provided by HeadOut was out of date. Pick up is from the office only.
Actual tour was amazing, but we were told 2 different pick up locations and only ended up realising this once we got to the wrong location. Bus didn't turn up so rang the company and they said the pick up address was on the other side of Athens. Had to quickly uber to the right location after being told the wrong one, we were very lucky to not miss it. More information should be provided on this tour as it is quite unorganised.
Our tour guide, George, was so much fun!! Very knowledgeable, funny, and extremely personable!! Our driver, Jimmy, was prompt & safe! Highly recommend this booking. As far as Cape Sounion... nothing short of spectacular!
The experience went great! The guide very friendly and fun, explaining interesting things along the tour. The views of Cape Sunion and the temple of Poseidon at sunset are beautiful. The entrance fee is paid separately, it is 20€ which is worth paying once there.
Everything was on time, clean and well organized. The information said that we would have a guide in the place, but actually the guide explained everything In the bus and left us to explore on our own when we reached the archeological site.
Communication was confusing - given two different pick up locations so had to go to the office to clarify the day before. The trip itself was long but you got to see the coast and various holiday resorts outside of Athens. More information along the route about these would be good. No stops on the way - it was a long wait for the actual sunset before rushing to leave on the coach again. Only seating was in the Temple restaurant which was very basic, busy and expensive. Overall not a bad excursion but not the best.
The experience went well but we could not go through the coast road because of the fires. I think they should have warned us earlier so that we could have made our own decision.
Pick up point easily to found, very nice, helpfull guide ( Sotris and Co-guide and driver) , good informations: a very nice trip for sunset -lovers.
The tour that we had booked stated that entry to the temple was included, but when we arrived we were told we had to pay an extra 20EURO to enter the temple. When we challenged the tour guide, he clearly knew of the issue and advised that this was a "misunderstanding" on the inclusion list. This was highly frustrating for us and in the end we felt we had been taken to the location under the false pretence of included temple entry. In the end we reluctanctly paid for entry as it was a one of visit that we woudlnt repeat, but we felt almost "held captive" by the location. The bus ride and the temple were good though, but we felt bad for the tour guide as he was under pressure from lots of our group as a result of the "misunderstood" listing, and has clearly faced this issue in the past as his response was well rehearsed.
Excellent service and bus trip and the sunset is awesome. Only bad but is the cafe there, which isn't the organisers' fault, but the food is not great and the service is terrible.
The overall experience was good and worth the amount spent. Cape Sunion was beautiful during the Sunset. Actually the road to Cape Sunion has picturesque view. The temple of Poseidon is mostly in ruins and pretty similar though much smaller than what you see in Acropolis or Parthenon. But the surroundings are beautiful.
Sotiris, our guide was excellent. He was knowledgeable and polite and gave us an excellent experience
Hello. Amazing times Great availability for doubts. Recommended
Absolutely loved it! The tour guide was funny and handsome which is a killer combo! 💙🇬🇷
Great Tour, Great Guide! We enjoyed the whole 6 hours.
The trip and the advisor was both great!
Very easy to pick up at the meeting point. The two guides, Vassili and Georges, were very friendly.

The hop on hop off bus option in Athens saved us from excruciating heat! Instead of walking all around or paying a lot more in Uber fares, we used this to see all of the significant "things" in Athens!
Here is the corrected review in Russian and its translation into English: --- ✅ Corrected review in Russian: It was very hot outside and it was quite uncomfortable in the park. What can't be said about the bus: thanks to the canopy overhead and a nice breeze inside it was cool and cozy. The staff was very polite and courteous - always helping with boarding and answering questions. It is especially convenient that the company has two proprietary apps that make it easy to plan and adjust your excursions. It would be great if they also sold cold water on board - it would make the trip even more pleasant. --- ✅ English translation: It was extremely hot outside, and staying in the park felt uncomfortable. Antony G is great. On June 28, 2025, he went out of his way to ensure that I made it to the stop near my hotel. Understanding which side of the street the bus would arrive was confusing but Antony G made sure I got back safely. Thank you Antony!
The translateur device it's wonderful piece of help when you visit. Thank you
All ok,even the boys and girls at the stop points were really good
They sold me a pass for 48 hours. They offered Riciera and Pireus but after 48 hours I asked to go to Pireus and they told me it was only for the first day.
The trip along the sea was pointless. Especially the return road along the absolutely same route. The sights were obviously the sea and the area with the wealthy houses which, in your opinion, should generate a huge interest.
The guides' attention was great but the bus audio was terrible, you could not hear anything.
problem in booking, thought i was was on the City Sightseeng site. Not going for another couple of weeks
The price and the 24-hour access to the bus - the very pleasant staff on departure
Great way to see the whole city and stop at various points of interest and get back on when you want and as often as you want. The 'audio guide on top of the bus explains the various sights in detail. Beautiful experience .
We are family with 2 small kids. We used the red line that covers most of the monuments and museums we planned to visit. Kids liked it very much. Thanks
Very pleasant and complete It was very good
Athen City Tour and riviera tour were very nice but the Piraeus tour was a bit disappointing.
The guide Ana was super friendly and very competent.

The number of tour participants was small, which made it not overly touristy. The guide gave us lots of information in a clear and attentive manner. Super recommended
Excellent orginasation, very knowledgable tiur guides, attentive and polite bus driver, we'll do it again! You made our visit unforgettable. Thank you all!
Lina and Sotos was perfects host of our Meteoras in the morning tour, Lina's passion about her home region is absolutely amazing. We got a lot of interesting informations and facts about the Meteoras, and the program was very relaxing.
Fantastic experience the guide Lina and the driver sotos were phenomenal
The tour guide Katerina is very knowledgeable and tireless. Good value for money for this tour. Please keep it that way.
Not at all recommended! Although I knew the tour was in English, I had to ask for the Audioguide which was simply a QR with little explanation. The entrances to the Monasteries do not enter as advertised nor to the caves. A total disaster everything, better to do it on your own
It was a great orientation to Meteora. Katerina , the guide was very informative.

Seeing the original statues from the Athena Nike Temple in the museum was a highlight. Also fantastic video that outlined the history of the site and the metropoles and architecture.
We went right in the morning at 8, and got in line about 7:30 to ensure we'd be there before major crowds and the sun, and super glad we did! We spent about an hour and enjoyed looking at all the ruins.
I traveled by myself so took time to view the exhibits as much and as little as I wanted. I preferred this to being told many facts and figures which I would have forgotten before I was out the door. I liked seeing some of the pieces in their stages of deterioration to remind me of how many eras and years they have been around to help me understand that great art has been with us throughout time.
As a history lover , I was able to immerse myself in what the Acropolis once was. I didn't get the audio guide , perhaps I should have however , there's information everywhere with pictures and fragments to give you the great historical experience . Views of the city also amazing !
The electron tickets were very easy to use. Great communication. The Acropolis was a great day out and getting round Athens on the open top bus made it easy to go everywhere. We went around the city and down the coast.
The highlight of my visit was how big and well preserved it is. If it is true that they let a lot of people pass and you do not enjoy it with the place deserves, it had to be more limited capacity.
Amazing historical site
The place is amazing, but is so many people that no matter how much you try to enjoy it is impossible
Beautiful monuments, rich in history
It is impressive to see the passage of history through these incredible remains.
Very beautiful history building. But a lot of people.
Nice views of Athens, good price combo
Very interesting and well organized!
Great experience. Skip the line and audio guide are perfect services.

What a wonderful way to see Athens. Besides enjoying the sights and sounds of this amazing city, it was a wonderful way to get our bearings. The excellent recording highlighted everything along the way! Thanks for a great journey!
The convenience of going around the city to see major main attractions and being able to stop wherever we want and then use the bus for transport back to the areas we wanted to revisit. Air conditioning could have definitely been better.
We took this bus by accident. We hadn't planned on it. We just happended to be near one of the stops. The ticket person was really friendly and explained all we needed to know about the tour and gave us a map of the route. The audio was adequate to cover the part of the city we were passing through. Great way to see Athens. It was also a good way to get back to our hotel. I recommend this tour.
The driver stopped to take a break, the upper part had no roof, the first part of the ride was suffered.
excellent service! friendly staff!
The departure times were never correct. The routes given online were also different from the ones actually taken. Not good for planning!!!
To be honest I have been disappointed as every single staff member I have been talking to never provided me the full information and also there were so many discrepancies between the information given which led to waste of our time and tiredness. I do work in English on a daily basis and understand and respect the different level of knowledge or culture of each other however I find unacceptable that they actually do not really understand or provide the full information allowing a smooth experience. I also used the chat which was extremely annoying and not been helpful at all. Finally yesterday we arrived early and I was with my parents who are now very old, I have asked more than once at what time we needed to be back, for which I have been told to come back at 11... I have checked on purpose and asked if we could board earlier on and he said no it will be 11. In the end we have arrived at 10:50 and the bus was full. To me when people are old and absolutely need to sit and I ask on top... this is unacceptable. Audio worked perfectly and good to have. Tour and locations proposed were nice. I hope this comment will help for future customers.
Didn't like comnentary, Riviera line very poor. Music eas nice at first then was very repretitive and irritating. Same on Athens tour, repetitive music. . Not as informative as expected.
Easy way to get around and stops were easy to spot (once we knew what we were looking for - a pic of the bus stop sign sent with confirmation would be a good touch). The audio was not synced properly during our first trip around Athens, it was at least a stop behind the whole trip. The 2 employees working one of the cross over stops were giving conflicting directions about where they wanted people to que and then got rude when people were confused . The Riviera route was late returning from a last run due to traffic congestion and then the driver gave us wrong info and we missed our last bus back to Piraeus.
Please don't book over Headout. The tickets are named completely different there ....
I booked online, but before I got on the bus, they made me pay an extra 5 euros, I don't know why.
They sold me the tour in Spanish and when I got on the bus they had no Spanish translation. I was scammed. Misleading advertising. Total disaster. They don't want to give me my money back.
It is important that the driver behave politely and try to help the customer with the audio system that was not working, rather than telling the customer to return to the location. Due to the loud music on the audio system, I could not hear the explanations.
Buses overcrowded, no air conditioning, poor audio performance
I had to wait 2 hours to get my tickets. The buses ran late and sometimes not at all
The three bus tours are great. You get to all the sights and are very mobile in the city. The audio information was very helpful. The staff at Big-Bus are always friendly and give competent advice on all questions. Many thanks for the wonderful experience.
Your guys working on every stations are lovely. Very helpful and kind. However I'd be happy if you just let me know on application or on mail about the bicycle race throughout Athens on Sunday, April 6th. It changed the routes and crossingpoints and I only heard of that on Sunday after buying my ticket.
Everybody was very kind and helpful, good experience
