- Have your passport, ID, and student ID ready for a seamless experience.
- Bring along your walking shoes, a bottle of water, sunscreen, and a hat for comfortable exploration.
- Don’t forget to bring your smartphone and headphones, and make sure your phone is fully charged before your visit.
Temple of Poseidon & Cape Sounion
- Bring along your sunglasses, hat, and water bottle for a comfortable experience.
- Wear comfortable shoes as this experience involves a fair amount of walking.
Accessibility
Acropolis & Parthenon
- The Acropolis has limited accessibility for visitors with mobility challenges. While there is an elevator near the South Slope entrance, its operation is managed entirely by the venue and may not always be available. Contact the site a day before your visit at +30 210 3214172 or +30 210 9238470 to confirm availability.
- Baby strollers are not permitted inside the Acropolis archaeological site due to the site's uneven terrain and lack of suitable storage facilities.
Temple of Poseidon & Cape Sounion
- The experience is not accessible for wheelchair users.
- This experience is pram/stroller accessible.
Acropolis & Parthenon
- After booking, you’ll receive an email with instructions for accessing your ticket and audio tour. If you don’t see the email in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder.
- Download your ticket and audio tour using Wi-Fi before your visit, as the mobile signal on Acropolis Hill can be weak or unreliable.
- To get to the Acropolis, take Metro Line 2 and exit at Acropolis station. Walk along Dionysiou Areopagitou Street, and you’ll see the Theatre of Dionysus on your right.
- The audio tour works on Android (5.0 or later) and iOS smartphones with 100-150 MB of free space. It is not compatible with Windows Phones, iPhone 5/5C or older, iPod Touch 5th gen or older, iPad 4th gen, or iPad Mini 1st gen.
- The app and audio guides require around 200-250 MB of space on your device.
- Be prepared for potential wait times as you might encounter long lines at the entrance.
- The Acropolis Museum offers free admission on March 6 (Melina Mercouri Day), March 25 (National Holiday), May 18 (International Day of Museums), and October 28 (National Holiday).

- The Temple of Poseidon sunset tour doesn't include entry ticket to the site.
